Should this and the previous sentences be connected via comma rather than dot?

Looks good to me, thanks!

I think so. How about this?

The FAT file system is a simple and robust file system.
Although it lacks the performance, reliability, and scalability of modern alternatives, its availability on many different operating systems makes it a common choice for data exchange between devices.

Shouldn't paths be in [.filename] tags?

110

FAT (for consistency when we talk about exFAT and we don't use "the").

115

Same doubt about paths.

128

path is wrong for package. I can't find it in my ports collection...

162

Not sure about the registered character. We use "(R)" in other parts of the documentation.

165

fuse-ntfs broken link.

207

fusefs-hfsfuse broken link.

231

Same for the paths.

Thanks for all the comments, I'm gonna fix everything right now.

I think that's a "run on sentence" if you merge them, hampers accessibility.

This is amazing! Very good chapter. Big thanks to Sergio for seeing a good example for me. If there's anything to add, I'd like to mention that this is known for being the efi filesystem, and the embedded device filesystem. However, I think it's important to consider Sergio's use of a terse and accessible, to the point style here.

Sorry I forgot to submit this earlier!

Really good catch!
I think this was related to the last changes in the Ports tree

Sorry, I forgot about moving filesystem manpages for freebsd 15!

I don't know the timeline for publishing but ext2fs is moved to section 4 in FreeBSD 15

136

I don't know when this is intended to be published but I moved kernel modules for filesystems to section 4 with the other kernel modules in FreeBSD 15.

Don't worry about this, we'll change it when FreeBSD 15 is released
