Could you please explain what do you intend exactly by "slush"? Also, since you stress a difference with a "freeze", you might want to state explicitely what the difference is. I know those terms are pretty common among FreeBSD developers, but we should also keep in mind that report submission is open to everyone, not only developers.

Also, I think we can still accept typo fixes after the slush: typos are quick to review and we want to avoid them as much as possible since the first publication. Maybe this exception should be stated explicitly.

Please mind that my comment about explaining the term "slush" makes sense only in view of the changes we are planning for this document, in particular in view of making it easily accessible by anyone wanting to know about the status team workflow. In its actual state, where the README is intented only for internal use by the team, it would not be necessary.
