To be honest I don't see anything important. So if anyone wants to update it in quaterly I am fine with it, but I will not do it myself.

OTR nor OMEMO is working for me at all. With OMEMO, they can't see my fingerprint, and with OTR inbound or outbound /otr start doesn't do anything, trigger log messages, etc. I was encouraged to try the latest version so I'll probably just try to build it manually.

To be honest I don't use OTR or OMEMO. If you send me your jabber handle by email (arved@FreeBSD.org), we can try to get it working. If you don't want to update to latest pkgs building profanity from ports should work.
