Did you want to describe this as backup? But it overrides unbound, so you wouldn't want to install it unless unbound was broken. Maybe you want to use a "server" at 127.0.0.1 for unbound first?

Is this necessary? It shouldn't be if the default domain is part of the hostname.

My local router is a VDSL Internet-in-a-box thingy, so that's a possibility for basic consumer connections.

Conversely, not sure these are worth it as fallbacks. (They may as primary servers, if the local router's DNS implementation sulks at unbound, EDNS0, or both.) But I don't remember my router's DNS not working for reasons other than a line outage, in which case remote nameservers won't help.
